On July 4th, 1776 some pretty smart guys (John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, John Hancock, etc.) signed a document that another pretty smart guy (Thomas Jefferson) wrote. "We hold these truths to be self-evident" begins the second paragraph, and with that, history was made.
240 years later, here are two truths that we hold to be self-evident:
- 75 percent of adults in the U.S. experience some degree of dental fear.
- 69 percent of adults age 35-44 have lost at least one permanent tooth due to an accident, gum disease, a failed root canal or tooth decay—that’s about 25 million people.
So, dear dental soldiers, what exactly do these two truths mean for the changing face of our field? With the rising demand for implants, now more than ever is the time to integrate efficient and minimally invasive implant techniques into your practice. By combining implant techniques and sedation, you can place more implants in fewer appointments, provide a more pleasant and relaxing experience for your patients and ensure a safe environment for an implant patient with a chronic condition.
Want to learn more? Join Drs. Anthony Feck and Brady Frank on Tuesday, February 4th at 5pm Pacific, 8pm Eastern as they crawl inside your computer (!) for an hour-long webinar exploring the benefits of combining sedation and implants. It’s a match made in tooth-heaven.
The best part? All February long we'll be talking about our favorite celebrity couple: sedation and implants, so keep your eyes peeled.
